Japan

I propose a trip to a millenary and spiritual country of imperial palaces, Buddhist temples hidden among skyscrapers, Zen gardens, colorful markets, old inns, sanctuaries and old neighborhoods that keep intact the beauty of their past. A universe that enters through the eyes but that seduces the most demanding palates with its delicious cuisine, a subtle balance of flavors, textures, fragrances and impeccable presentation.

We will leave Madrid or Barcelona on a flight to Tokyo.

Tokyo, a dynamic and futuristic city, has many faces to discover. From the bustling Shinjuku neighborhood, with its dazzling shopping malls and giant neon screens that cover its facades, to the more traditional and picturesque neighborhoods like Asakusa that surrounds the oldest Buddhist temple in the city. Or the elegant and luxurious neighborhood of Ginza, a showcase for the great fashion brands, with its art galleries and refined restaurants. Tokyo leaves no one indifferent and a visit to Tsukiji, the largest fish market in the world dating from the Edo period, proves it.

We will visit the mountainous region of Hakone. Here we will live a unique experience by staying in the most luxurious Ryokan in Japan (traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami floors and a select staff dressed in traditional Kimono) and we will enjoy its thermal baths, the famous Onsen, surrounded by natural landscapes of great beauty scenic At the foot of the imposing Mount Fuji, symbol of the country, we contemplate lush forests, typical villages and crystalline lakes.

We will visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama towns, famous for the quality of their hot springs and famous spas. Kyoto, on the banks of the Kamo River, was the capital of the empire for over a thousand years and maintains its traditional architecture almost intact. A trip back in time through a city where harmony reigns and there are corners of exquisite beauty: Buddhist temples, Zen gardens, imperial villas and neighborhoods like Gion with its picturesque bamboo-roofed tea houses. We will enjoy a private dinner enlivened by a Geiko wrapped in her delicate kimono. We will have the privilege of privately participating in a tea ceremony held by a Buddhist monk in a Zen temple.

One of the most prestigious agencies in the country manages all private services with Spanish-speaking guides.

The trip is advised and the reservations managed by the travel agency: “Ocoa Travel Consulting”.
